We want to make your shopping experience "hassle free" and "safe". Our site is designed to make this process as straight forward as possible. However, you need to know a little more about the buying process, our terms and conditions of sale and your rights when buying from us. The following will hopefully answer any questions you may have as well as laying out our terms and conditions of sale. By placing an order with us you are confirming your agreement to our terms and conditions as set out below.
As a PayPal merchant we offer you the most secure online payment method available today. PayPal began in 1999 as a tool for transferring money for payment in eBay auctions and is currently the most popular online payment system of its kind. To date, PayPal boasts more than 8 million members, which account for a considerable number of those who make purchases via the Internet.
Customers and merchants are protected exceptionally well by PayPal. First, the order form that pops up to take the customer's credit card uses PayPal's SSL (secure sockets layer) secure server. With PayPal the merchant doesn't need a secure server, only a standard website. PayPal provides the secure order form.
We are also more than happy to accept cheques drawn on a Canadian bank although in this case goods will not be dispatched until payment has cleared our account. If paying by cheque, full payment instructions will be sent to you by email on completion of the checkout process.
We accept orders from North America and overseas. However, for overseas buyers payment must be made via Paypal. You do not have to be a Paypal account holder to make debit or credit card payments.
Credit Card Security
Your entry of credit/debit card numbers is made on the Paypal website and not on Arabella Pines. We do not store your credit/debit card information on our site at any time.
All information entered in on the Paypal website is encrypted in transit using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol and the highest commercially available encryption key length of 128-bits. For further information please visit their website at www.paypal.com
Ordering by Telephone
If for any reason you don't feel comfortable ordering on line, and you would prefer to give us your credit card information over the phone we take Visa and Master Card. You may reach us at (289) 296-0510 9:00am To 5:00pm Eastern Time.
Shipping Charges and Taxes
Shipping charges are not included in the published price and will be added to your invoice on completion of your order. Flat rate shipping, handling and insurance charges are calculated on the total dollar amount of each order and are clearly shown when you view the shopping cart.
If you wish to make any special shipping arrangements, please email us with your request or give us a call to discuss.
All prices shown on our website are in Canadian dollars and do not include any Canadian taxes. Within Canada Goods and Service Tax (GST) of 5% is applied to all orders and is based on the combined product and shipping costs.
Once a custom order has been agreed and the work completed, we endeavour to dispatch completed orders within 2 to 4 working days upon receipt of cleared payment from Monday to Friday except Canadian Statutory Holidays. If payment is by cheque, goods will not be dispatched until payment has cleared our account.
If for any reason there is any delay we will inform you as soon as we possibly can. All items shown on this website are one-of-a-kind custom designs and should not be considered "in stock" and available for immediate shipping. Please email us to discuss your needs using the displayed products as reference.
All completed items are dispatched for destinations within Canada and outside Canada using Canada Post Xpresspost.
Confirmation of Order
On checking out you will receive an email confirming your purchase together with information regarding payment and delivery. If for any reason you do not receive this email within 12 hours then please get in touch with us.
We only collect sufficient information from you so that we can process your order. All information, your name, address and contact details will be treated lawfully and in accordance with applicable Canadian law.
We do not require you to enter your telephone number but you may wish to add that information so that we can contact you in the event of any Email failure.
We will not contact you for any reason other than that related to your order or in answering any question that you may have.
No information entered on this website is or will ever be passed to any third party.
Goods damaged or proved faulty in transit will be replaced wherever possible or alternatively a full refund will be made. Please notify us immediately of any such occurrence.
Your Right to Cancel
Under Canadian law you have the right to cancel your order within seven working days after the day the goods were received. If you do decide to cancel you should notify us of your intention by Email. The goods must be returned to us unused and in their original packaging and at your own expense. We will make a full refund to you within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods.
Returns and Refunds
In addition to your rights within Canada, if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase then you may return them to us within 3 working days of receipt of delivery. Provided the goods are returned in unused, original condition and are carefully packaged , a full refund less our original delivery charges will be made within 7 working day of receipt of the returned goods. In the interests of hygiene we cannot issue refunds on return of earrings if they have been worn.
We truly hope that you don't, but should you have any complaints please contact us in confidence by Email giving details of your complaint and your suggestion as to how we can resolve the situation. We will act as quickly as possible to rectify any problem you have with our goods or services.
All measurements given on this website are approximate although we do try to describe our products as accurately as we can.
Our Rights to Cancel
Although extremely unlikely, Arabella Pines reserves the right to cancel any order within 48 hours of placement. Notification will be given by email as soon as possible and a full refund (including postage) will be issued.
Allergies - Nickel and Impure Metal in Silver
Contrary to popular belief, 925 silver does not necessarily mean that it is free from impure metals. It simply means that the purity of the silver content is 92.5% - it definitely does not mean it is "nickel free".
If a person is allergic to a piece of jewelry it is usually the nickel or other metals that they are allergic to.
We do not suggest that any piece of silver or silver jewelry offered on this site is nickel free and do not offer any guarantees with regard to allergies.
If you have a nickel and/or any other impure metal allergy then please do not purchase any silver based product from this site. There are specialist suppliers who can produce items guaranteed to be free from nickel.
Disputes, Law, Jurisdiction and Language
Arabella Pines is based in Canada and is governed by Canadian law. Any dispute shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Canadian law whereupon the Canadian courts shall have jurisdiction over all disputes.
This website, www.arabellapines.com , any content contained herein and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website (ie your purchase and our delivery) are governed by and construed in accordance with Canadian Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Canada. All contracts are concluded in English.
